NoomiClone Custom Controls — Buttons & Three Layouts

Set up NoomiClone mobile buttons from the pause menu or Settings. Learn layout checks, move assignments and what to record when an input behaves unexpectedly.

To customise NoomiClone's mobile controls, open the button editor from the pause menu or Settings. The developer documents moving and resizing buttons, adding the moves you want, and keeping three layouts. This editor is separate from the classic browser game's four keyboard bindings.

Open the button editor

Start in the official mobile app and pause your attempt, or open Settings. Use the button editor offered by your installed version. The 2.4.0 notes specifically add editing from the pause menu and three layouts; older videos may show a different route.

Before changing a layout you like, take a screenshot of its button positions and assignments. This is a reference for rebuilding it, not an importable layout file. The official documentation does not provide a universal layout-sharing code.

Choose the moves for your practice

Control Documented behaviour
Arch Hold the body shape; on water maps, hold it to swim.
Tuck / Pike Choose a tucked or hips-folded body shape. Releasing a shape button lets Noomi relax.
Let Go Release the bar.
Twist Turn in the air; the developer allows a button for each direction.
Stick / Unstick Plant the feet for a landing, then free them again.

Button placement changes how you reach an action, not what the action does. Start with the movements needed for your current drill. Use the twist guide or diving guide when adding those moves.

Move, resize and compare one change

  1. Note which layout you are editing and the action assigned to each button.
  2. Move a hard-to-reach button or change its size in the editor.
  3. Return to the same map and spawn, then try that action alone.
  4. Check that nearby buttons are still easy to distinguish before adding another change.
  5. Use the available layouts to keep different arrangements, rather than rebuilding everything for each practice session.

This is a suggested comparison method, not an official optimal layout. No fixed pixel sizes or guaranteed regrab settings are published in the sources we checked. If your view hides the hands or landing area, adjust camera settings separately so you can tell which change helped.

Unexpected shapes or unresponsive buttons

A public mobile report describes an unexpected body shape without deliberate touch. A reply suggests checking custom controls, but it does not establish the cause. First release all inputs, inspect the active layout and compare each button's assigned move with the shape you see.

Reset the attempt and repeat one input at a time. If the behaviour persists after reopening the app, record the map, device, installed version, active layout and steps that reproduce it for the developer's support link on the official store. This guide does not claim that changing layouts fixes that report. Preserve your progress while investigating; clearing app storage removes the local copy.

Do button layouts move to a new phone?

The developer's privacy policy keeps settings, including the button layout, on the device. Signing in for progress backup does not mean the same button arrangement will appear on another phone. Keep your layout screenshot and compare the new device before removing the old installation. See progress and backup scope.

Reviewed October 27, 2026 against the developer's control descriptions, 2.4.0 update notes, local settings policy, and this public mobile-input report. The editor's capabilities are documented; the comparison steps are editorial advice. We have not tested a phone layout, a layout transfer or the reported fault.
