A useful first goal in NoomiClone is to make two swings that you can recognize as similar. Then you can test a release at a chosen point instead of guessing whether a flip was lucky. The developer documents Left Arrow for arch, Space for tuck, Up Arrow for letting go and R for reset in the classic browser game.
This drill is for the browser bar game. It uses the documented keys and our own practice suggestions. It does not claim an exact timing window, a guaranteed trick, or the mobile app's control layout.
Watch one unhurried swing first
Open the original browser game, wait for it to load, then click inside the player so your keyboard has focus. Observe where the gymnast is relative to the bar as the motion changes direction. Let the first attempt be a reference: you do not need to release or complete a trick yet.
If the game does not respond to Space or the arrow keys, check focus before changing your timing. The PC setup guide has the short loading and keyboard checklist.
Try one body-position change
Left Arrow arches the body; Space tucks it. Start with just one of these inputs on a new attempt. Watch how the position changes during the next part of the swing. Reset with R and try the other input from a similar starting position.
| On this attempt | Watch for | On the next attempt |
|---|---|---|
| Arch with Left Arrow | The body shape and where the swing travels afterward | Keep the starting motion similar; change only when you arch. |
| Tuck with Space | How the compact position changes the motion | Try the same starting motion with a different tuck moment. |
| Release with Up Arrow | The direction of travel right after leaving the bar | Keep the body inputs similar; release a little earlier or later. |
This is a comparison exercise. The precise result depends on your current speed and position, so a table of fixed key timings would be misleading.
Choose a release cue you can see
Once the swing feels repeatable, choose a visible point in its arc, such as just before or after the gymnast passes under the bar. Press Up Arrow near that point. Reset and repeat, moving the release slightly earlier or later while keeping the setup similar.
Look at the path immediately after release. Does the gymnast travel toward a reachable bar, rise past it, or move away from it? If the path changes every time, return to a simpler swing before adding a flip. A shorter, more repeatable motion can teach you more than a large swing you cannot reproduce.
When you are ready to catch another bar
First choose a target bar, then compare your release path with the target. If your hands never travel near it, work on the swing and release before adding more rotation. If the path is close but the body is poorly oriented, change only the arch or tuck part of the attempt. Our regrab practice guide separates those two problems.
The mobile app has its own controls and updates. For a phone session, use the version comparison and the in-game controls shown by your installation rather than assuming these four keyboard keys apply there.
